About the Position

Transdev Norrköping has been commissioned by Östgötatrafiken to provide public transport in Norrköping urban area as well as express and regional traffic. We have nearly 100 vehicles that daily transport the population of Östergötland to and from schools and workplaces. Job Responsibilities

As a bus technician focusing on vehicle electrics, your main responsibilities will be to perform preventive maintenance, service, and repairs on our vehicles. The tasks vary depending on the vehicle model; you will work with electric buses, gas buses, and diesel buses, each model requiring different levels of technical competence.

In our new, modern workshop, you will work alongside experienced colleagues to ensure high operational reliability and safe traffic. We work in a structured manner and with good team spirit, where participation and suggestions for improvement are encouraged. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop through training and knowledge exchange.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who appreciates responsibility and creates value for both the organization and the environment with their engagement. When challenges arise, you are solution-focused, and you find it easy to collaborate with others. You maintain good order and structure in your work.

Other requirements for the position:

• Basic vehicle technology education or equivalent work experience – this can be from passenger cars, trucks, buses, or other types of vehicles

• Experience with modern vehicle electrics/electrified technology is an advantage, but not a requirement

• You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Good computer skills, especially MS Office/Excel

• Driving license B

We also prefer that you have a driving license D. If you do not have this, the employer may possibly cover the training in the future as part of your work. The employer offers ongoing skills development and the opportunity to broaden and deepen your competence.

Scope & Employment Type: The position is a permanent full-time employment with a 6-month probationary period. Working Hours: We work on a rotating schedule with early shifts, mid shifts, and evening shifts. Location: Norrköping Start Date: As soon as possible by agreement
